From Prague Spring to Velvet Revolution

He goes to Prague, he says, We believe in a nuclear free world.

The two decisions issued by the Ministry of Interior in this case were quashed by the Prague High Court and the Prague Town Court, respectively, and referred back to the same Ministry for a rehearing.

But I believe we will not fail, because of the lesson I learned in Prague.

On 5 August 1998, the author appealed the decision of the Ministry to the Prague High Court.

In August 1998, the author filed a motion for judicial review in the Prague High Court, as well as a complaint in the Constitutional Court.

The latter was dismissed on 18 November 1998 for failure to exhaust available remedies, as the action was still pending in the Prague High Court.

The Conference supported the efforts of Azerbaijan to build on the results of the meetings held within the framework of the Prague process on the peaceful settlement of conflicts.

One should not blame anyone today for such behavior. But it is surprising when these people accuse participants in the Prague Spring and the democratic opposition of links with communism.

On March 9, 1953, from the Gulf of Finland to the Bering Sea, everything stood still likewise in Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, and East Berlin. In Beijing, Mao Zedong himself bowed low before an immense effigy of Joseph Stalin.

However, Azerbaijan still hopes that the Armenian side will not miss this chance to advance the negotiation process, with the assistance of the OSCE Minsk Group Co Chairmen, in accordance with the key understanding reached within the Prague process.
