The largest non Slav ethnic group, which spoke a different language, the population of Kosovo, had been completely abandoned by the international community solely because it strove to exercise its right to self determination through peaceful means instead of through the barrel of a gun.

At the same time, may we recall the well known fact that the service in the Orthodox Church is performed in the Old Slav (old Russian) Church language, which makes the allegations that the members of the Bulgarian minority are deprived of the right to profess their faith in their mother tongue blatantly unfounded.
