Parties should also provide information on the indirect greenhouse gases carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and non methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), and are encouraged to provide data on sulphur oxides.

Nitrous oxide (N2O)

In the national communication or as additional information obtained during the in depth review, inventory data were provided on the main GHGs carbon dioxide, methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), and the precursors nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) and non methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), for the years 1989, 1990 and 1991.

N2O emissions from agricultural sector represented roughly 87 per cent of the total N2O emissions.

And the reason for this, it turned out, after two or three years' work, was that in the skin we have huge stores not of nitric oxide, because nitric oxide is a gas, and it's released and in a few seconds it's away, but it can be turned into these forms of nitric oxide nitrate, NO3 nitrite, NO2 nitrosothiols.

However, UN 1975 Nitric oxide and dinitrogen tetroxide mixture may be transported in pressure drums.

It seemed we couldn't turn off the production of nitric oxide in the skin of humans.

E. Measures targeting nitrous oxide

The majority of them target CO2 emissions with consequent effects on N2O and ozone precursors.

And we then thought to ourselves, with those big stores, I wonder if sunlight might activate those stores and release them from the skin, where the stores are about 10 times as big as what's in the circulation.

(i) Reduce emissions of nitrous oxide.

At a minimum, information should be provided on the following greenhouse gases carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6).

Emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) totalled 108 Gg, carbon monoxide (CO) 6.7 Gg, nitrous oxide (NOx) 2,740 Gg and non methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC) 25,400 Gg.

Slovakia provided projections of its energy related emissions of CO2, CH4 and N2O in 2005.

Some Parties did not report specific policies and measures targeting N2O.

Since that time three other gases were recognized as important greenhouse gases nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4), halocarbons (CFCs) and tropospheric ozone.

The national communication includes aggregated emission estimates using global warming potentials (GWP), with CO2 emissions contributing 80 per cent of total emissions expressed as CO2 equivalent, methane (CH4) 12 per cent, nitrous oxide (N2O) 7 per cent and indirect GHG nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), and non methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC) 1 per cent.

Methane held the second largest share (11 per cent) of GHG emissions, followed by N2O (4 per cent).

CO2 represented 82 per cent of 1990 emissions, methane (CH4) about 8 per cent and nitrous oxide (N2O) about 10 per cent.

Use of oil with tetra ethyl lead causes much pollution, with lead containing carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and policyclic nitro hydride.

Omissions identified by the review team include CO2 emissions from land use change, CO2 from incineration of carbon in waste, N2O from the manufacture of inorganic chemicals and N2O from animal wastes.

Nitrous Oxide N2O is also an important greenhouse gas which has both natural and man made sources.

We worked out a mechanism, which NO was helping cells survive.

Thermal power plants emit, among other pollutants, sulphur dioxide, waste ashes, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide, which are mainly responsible for air pollution.

So what you can do is you can multiply those data by the NO that's released and you can calculate how much nitric oxide would be released from the skin into the circulation.

Calculations by the review team showed that in terms of GWP carbon dioxide accounted for 81 per cent of GHG emissions, methane for 17 per cent and nitrous oxide for 2 per cent.

On the other hand, their application results in more N2O emissions.

Emissions of non CO2 gases are relatively uncertain, and the team concluded that the estimate of nitrous oxide is still likely to be revised significantly downwards.

And these are more stable, and your skin has got really large stores of NO.

We inject our own aerosols into the atmosphere, and we have trace gases, and not just carbon dioxide it's methane, ozone, oxides of sulfur and nitrogen.
