The mandate of the Working Group was extended by the General Assembly at its forty eighth through fifty first sessions.1 Reports on the progress of its work were submitted by the Working Group to the General Assembly at its forty eighth, forty ninth, fiftieth and fifty first sessions.2

The ad hoc working group will prepare a report and the text of a draft resolution to be submitted to the Subcommittee at its forty fourth session, in 2005.

The Working Party will be invited to approve the provisional agenda for its forty fifth session, as reproduced in section I above.

Fourthly, a follow up team should be established to ensure its implementation.

Following the recommendation of the Working Group, which requested OHCHR to organize a four to five day high level seminar within the fourth session of the Working Group (ibid., para. 73, recommendation 36), the Committee, during its sixty seventh session, discussed its participation in the fourth session of the Working Group.

The Working Group on Electronic Commerce considered deleting the reliability condition, at its forty fourth session.
