Another important revision is Amendment No. 36 of the 1982 Criminal Procedure Ordinance (from 2002), which added Sections 59A and 62A.

Rule 114.2

1.3 The revised text of the Staff Regulations incorporating the amendments referred to above is attached to the present bulletin.

Should the Assembly find that a provisional rule and or amendment is inconsistent with the intent and purpose of the Regulations, it may direct that the rule and or amendment be withdrawn or modified.

The legal basis for controlling the movement of dual use goods from the Community is Council Regulation (EC) No.1334 2000, as amended, which is directly applicable in all EU Member States.

2005 11 Revision of UNFPA financial regulations

In order to implement the recommendation, the Secretary General proposes the amendment of staff regulation 10.2 (see annex).

Such staff rules and amendments as the Secretary General may make to implement the present Regulations shall be provisional until the requirements of regulations 12.3 and 12.4 below have been met.

Amendment of, and exceptions to, Staff Rules

Amendments to Article 23

The Director General shall be subject to the Staff Regulations of the Organization, together with such amendments as may be made thereto, insofar as they are applicable to him her.

The implementation of the expanded financial disclosure regime will require an amendment of staff regulation 1.2 (n) by the General Assembly.

On 10 May, the Committee considered a report by the Director General on the amendment to the annex to the financial regulations (PBC.21 4).

Staff regulation 12.3 provides that the full text of provisional staff rules and amendments should be reported annually to the General Assembly.

The present proposal will address three questions in particular (a) should article 5 be amended and if so, in what manner?

(i) That the appointment is subject to the provisions of the Staff Regulations and of the Staff Rules applicable to the category of appointment in question and to changes which may be duly made in such regulations and rules from time to time

It may make amendments, however, in accordance with financial regulation 3.11, i.e. by referring the matter back to the Programme and Budget Committee and the Industrial Development Board, should there be anticipated expenditures in connection with the amendments.
