He doesn't need to forge paintings.

Do they say you have fabricated it? Tell them If I have fabricated it, then mine is the guilt but I am clear of what you are guilty.

What! They dare say that, He has fabricated it ? Say, If I may have fabricated it, then my sin is upon me, and I am unconcerned with your sins.

(Or do they say, 'He has forged it'? Say 'If I have forged it, upon me falls my sin and I am quit of the sins you do.')

Or say they he hath fabricated it? Say thou on me then be my guilt, and I am quit of that whereof ye are guilty.

Or they (the pagans of Makkah) say He (Muhammad SAW) has fabricated it (the Quran). Say If I have fabricated it, upon me be my crimes, but I am innocent of (all) those crimes which you commit.

Or do they say, He made it up? Say, If I made it up, upon me falls my crime, and I am innocent of the crimes you commit.

(O Muhammad!) Do they say that he himself has forged this message? Tell them 'If I have forged this, the guilt of it will fall upon me, but I am not responsible for the crimes you are committing.

Or say they (again) He hath invented it? Say If I have invented it, upon me be my crimes, but I am innocent of (all) that ye commit.

Do they say, He has fabricated it? Say, Should I have fabricated it, then my guilt will be upon me, and I am absolved of your guilty conduct.

Or do they say 'He has fabricated it (himself)' Say 'If I had fabricated it, then the sin rests upon me. I reject the sins you do'

Or do they say about Prophet Muhammad , He invented it ? Say, If I have invented it, then upon me is the consequence of my crime but I am innocent of what crimes you commit.

Do they say that Muhammad has falsely ascribed (the Quran) to God? (Muhammad), tell them Had I falsely ascribed it to God, I shall be responsible for my own sins. I am certainly not responsible for whatever sins you commit!

Or do they say He has forged it? Say If I have forged it, on me is my guilt, and I am clear of that of which you are guilty.

If they say, He has invented it himself, say to them, If I have indeed invented this myself, then may I be punished for my sin I am innocent of the crimes that you commit.

Or do they say, He has forged it ? Say If I had forged it, on me were my sin! and I am free of the sins of which ye are guilty!

You will see how they will lie against themselves, and all their slanderings will be vain.

We never heard of it in the former faith. It is surely a fabrication.

Observe how they lied against themselves, and how they lost the things they fabricated!

We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.

Behold how they lie against themselves, and how that which they were forging has gone astray from them!

We have not heard of this in the last religion this is surely an invention.

Behold! how they lied against themselves! and then failed them that which they had been fabricating.

We heard not thereof in the later faith this is naught but an invention.

Look! How they lie against themselves! But the (lie) which they invented will disappear from them.

We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention!

Look how they lied to themselves. And what they invented deserted them.

We never heard of this in the former faith. This is nothing but a fabrication.

Behold, how they will lie against themselves and how their forged deities will forsake them!

We have not heard this in the religious community close to our time. This is nothing but a fabrication.

See how they lie against themselves, and (how) the thing which they devised hath failed them!

We have not heard of this in later religion. This is naught but an invention.

Look, how they forswear themselves, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them!

We did not hear of this in the latter day creed. This is nothing but a fabrication.

Look how they lie against themselves, and how that which they were forging has gone astray from them!

We never heard of this in the former religion. It is nothing but an invention.

See how they will lie about themselves. And lost from them will be what they used to invent.

We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication.

Consider, how they have lied against their own souls and have lost their gods.

We have heard nothing like this in the latest religion. This is only his own false invention.

See how they lie against their own souls, and that which they forged has passed away from them.

We never heard of this in the former faith this is nothing but a forgery

See how they lie to themselves, and how those the deities they invented have deserted them.

We have not heard of any such thing in the old religion. This is nothing but a fabrication.

Behold! how they lie against their own souls! But the (lie) which they invented will leave them in the lurch.
