The Ministry of Agriculture also plays a leading role in the rural areas of Jordan, providing agricultural guidance and supplying seedlings, inter alia.

To conduct this program, the Agrarian Institute may enlist the cooperation of the different departments of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agricultural Bank, and other government departments.

Programmes have been set up to develop the rural economy and to integrate employment opportunities in rural areas.
