On 8 December 1993, the Government established the Assistance Project for Returnees (PAR), within which the National Institute for Development (INADE) is currently comprehensively dealing with all aspects of internal displacement and coordinating international cooperation.

35. The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is a principal service provider within the United Nations system for integrated mine action and capacity building programmes.

Some national laws on privately financed infrastructure projects contain provisions on the law that applies to the project agreement between the host Government and the project company, often mandating the application of national law.

The project activities are implemented by UNDCP within a network of organizations, including government organizations, United Nations Office for Project Services, UNDP, other United Nations entities and non governmental organizations.

Nevertheless, project management must be strengthened at the United Nations Office at Geneva.

There will be a standing item on internally displaced persons on the agenda of all working group meetings.

Projects exclusively in support of LDCs include LDC country specific projects, LDC Trust Fund projects, and the Integrated Framework.
