The State Labour Inspection supervises the compliance with these requirements pursuant to the Law On State Labour Inspection and Regulations of the CM On State Labour Inspection.

Nevertheless, if no experts in a given occupation are to be found on the labour market among Polish citizens or foreigners with the appropriate status, foreigners who do not have the right to work may apply for employment after receiving permission from the appropriate voivodeship labour office.

Free legal advice was provided by the Labour Inspectorate and the National Human Rights Office, and free legal aid was available in the country for those wishing to apply to the courts.
