The administrative and operational services costs of country projects are the percentage of annual project expenditures authorized by the Governing Council for the reimbursement of the administrative and operational services.

IV. Operational priorities of recovery

The project showed that current approaches to small business finance were based on the experience of previous policies that focused on credit subsidies and had meagre results.

(d) Under item (d), an allocation of 50,000 for five work months of consultancy for the development of an agri business component of technical cooperation project for promoting entrepreneurship (EMPRETEC).

For each of these niches, the business plan established the comparative advantages of UNCDF in relation to other service providers.

Total expenditures included 15,230,713 for headquarters, 15,378,750 for field operations and 107,745,037 for project activities.

The track 2 portfolio covers project implementation services and is restricted to projects in the areas of environment, governance, rural development, agriculture and other projects in countries pursuing the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

38. In August 1991, the Government of Poland concluded an agreement with the World Bank on the basis of which Poland was granted a loan for the implementation of a project concerning employment and improvement of employment services.

Formal responsibility for authorizing the trust fund projects was vested in a Project Review Group, but operational management, including authorization of expenditure, was vested in the one individual who managed the Trust Fund Unit, who helped to write proposals and was responsible for authorizing payments and verifying that the work had been completed.

The IUCN is developing guidelines on GEF OP 15 in order to assist countries to develop and implement projects under the programme.

The Chief of the Information Systems Unit supports the computer application systems that service the Fund's operations in the areas of financial services, client services, participation and separations, and also supports certain projects in the Investment Management Service.

The New Agenda remained a basic mandate for African economic and social development and any other action programmes merely translated it into action in operational terms.
