21. The greeting card and related operations inventory of raw materials, products in process and finished goods are valued at standard cost.

In paragraph 475, the United Nations Postal Administration agreed with the Board's recommendation that it maintain (a) a sub account for every stockroom code in MegaAccount and periodically reconcile the account balances against the ledger and stock value report and (b) a stockroom ledger to keep track of the stock movement pending its entry in MegaStamp, as provided for in the United Nations Postal Administration procedures manual.

Engineering stores are currently maintained in 14 different warehouses and, when fully stocked, will include 1,540 containers in 5 outdoor storage yards.

To support these initiatives the Office of Internal Audit has developed a database to track the implementation of audit recommendations.
