The Parties to the Convention which have greenhouse gas emission reduction commitments must quantify, report, reduce and mitigate their national emissions of greenhouse gases.

General description There is a need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which is leading to climate change.

GHG emitters will have incentives to make emission reductions that cost less at the margin than the price of a permit and to invest in technological development so as to abate more cheaply in the future.

Action is needed in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Many of these partnership arrangements are with industry and aim to reduce GHG emissions per unit of production.

With respect to air quality, a number of steps have been taken to reduce emissions, such as introduction of fees on emissions of nitrogen oxides and stricter requirements on emissions from industrial activities.

His Government stood ready to cooperate with the developed countries in local projects to decrease greenhouse gases it was also preparing an inventory of such emissions and proposals to reduce them.

The mitigation of climate change basically requires reduction of the emissions of greenhouse gases or alternatively the capture and storage of emissions for a long period.

And equally, when it comes to climate change, every single country is going to have to make cuts.
