An ad hoc secretariat has been set up to coordinate plans for the NGO Forum, and an international advisory group, which will meet twice before the NGO Forum is held, will advise on the planning for the NGO Forum.

The secretariat of the United Nations Forum on Forests has reviewed the credentials of the following intergovernmental organizations that have requested accreditation to the Forum

The Forum has met on a regular basis to discuss and evaluate the policies for women developed by the government.

Forest landscape restoration is relevant to a wide range of IPF and IFF proposals for action and the UNF programme of work.

The sessions of the Statistical Commission, a technical not a political forum, are not the proper place for a debate on these matters.
