And the bad fats are things like trans fatty acids and processed food and saturated fats, which we find in meat.

Vegetable and animal oil and fat

We could use amino acids, we could use nucleic acids, carboxylic acids, fatty acids.

Dogs can distinguish two very similar fatty acids, extremely diluted caprylic acid and caproic acid.

Our hunter ancestors ate fat, which was transported to the liver and broken down by the lipolytic pathway to deliver fatty acids to the mitochondria (the subcellular structures that burn food to create energy). On the occasion of a big kill, any excess dietary fatty acids were packaged into low density lipoproteins and transported out of the liver to be stored in peripheral fat tissue.

And these are predominantly what are called the Omega 3 fatty acids.

So instead of having starch, which is the food of plants, it takes something rather similar to brown fat and burns it at such a rate that it's burning fat, metabolizing, about the rate of a small cat.

Just as all carbs are not bad for you, all fats are not bad for you. There are good fats.

Now, there's another fatty acid, capric acid, which is just like the other two, except that it has two more carbon atoms.

And that's the difference between a PCB and, say, something natural like an omega 3, something we want out of the marine food chain.

So, an optimal diet is low in fat, low in the bad carbs, high in the good carbs and enough of the good fats.

This is fat digestion.

The Bulgarian diet contains a high percentage of animal and vegetable fat, carbohydrates and salt and insufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits, and lacks sufficient proteins, minerals and vitamins.

You might know that fat has memory.

And nature did its part by supplying all naturally occurring foodstuffs with either fat or carbohydrate as the energy source, not both. Even fatty fruits coconut, olives, avocados are low in carbohydrate.

And in fact, this molecule prevents this adipocyte, this fat stem cell, from remembering how to make fat such that mice on a high fat diet, like the folks in my hometown of Chicago, fail to develop fatty liver, which is a major medical problem.

And, like a tumor, fat grows when blood vessels grow.

Fat derived stem cells are adult stem cells.

If the breast is less than 25 percent dense, that's called fatty replaced.
