During the reporting period, the Committee held one formal and two informal meetings.

The format of the report corresponds to the format of relevant parts of the technical report on space debris that is currently being prepared by the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee.

Report of the informal preparatory meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee (A AC.254 3)

The Chairman Rapporteur added that NGOs could provide alternative reports to the official reports submitted to the treaty bodies by Governments, or they could be involved at national level at the time the reports were being drafted.
