2. MICIVIH continued to liaise and cooperate with the United Nations Civilian Police Mission in Haiti (MIPONUH), which has been providing it with logistical and administrative support.

Through the Bhagidari Cell, networks of local groups have grown from 20 citizen groups in 2000 to more than 1,600 citizen groups representing about 3 million people today.

The Secretary General's bulletin entitled Basic security in the field staff safety, health and welfare (ST SGB 2003 19) requires that the basic security in the field course be compulsory for all United Nations personnel assigned to field missions and duty stations.

Similar teams would be established in other peacekeeping missions during the 2006 07 financial period.

The Board holds regular coordination meetings with the peacekeeping audit services unit at Headquarters during its audit process.
