It's produced in the fertilizer industry it's produced in the chemical manufacturing industry.

So that's the balloon, big gas balloon.

So let me talk about hydrogen first.

What it is, is a picture of the spectrum of hydrogen.

And it can come from biofuels.

A lot of hydrogen's produced today in the world.

And then we give it a second gene to grow an inorganic material that can be used to split water into oxygen and hydrogen that can be used for clean fuels.

But it tells us that we know how to create it, we know how to create it cost effectively, we know how to handle it safely.

And a team has now just been able to mimic that hydrogen juggling hydrogenase.

So this, for example, is hydrogen generating algae.

It's filled with this toxic gas, hydrogen sulfide.

So we're pretty excited about the future of hydrogen.

Here's the balloon being filled up with helium, and you can see it's a gorgeous sight.

This box can be used to specify the molar mass of the gas, e. g. 2 for Hydrogen gas.

That hydrogen's being made because there's a good business reason for its use.

And here is a bill to 300 litres of suplhur acid determined to the creating of hydrogen.

For instance, here they are laying down the balloon fabric behind, which is eventually going to be filled up with helium.

It's produced to get sulfur out of gasoline which I find is somewhat ironic.

It needs to be rocket powered or one of these things, a great big gas balloon.

Costs must be reduced and a means found to produce hydrogen in a manner that reduces the total environmental burden of the hydrogen energy system.

The vision here is to have each local community play to its natural strength in creating the hydrogen.

About six months later I figured out it must be hydrogen, until some scientist told me the unfortunate truth, which is, you actually use more clean electrons than the ones you get inside a car, if you use hydrogen.

We think it's a question of not whether, but a question of when.

Those two trucks you see at the very end carry 12 tanks each of compressed helium.

How can developing counties best prepare for an eventual hydrogen future?

You have your two hydrogens, and then you would have a hydrogen here, and then you would have your bromine here.

And what they have to do is they have to assemble the entire balloon the fabric, parachute and everything on the ice and then fill it up with helium.

It is largely due to Dr Radcliffe that control of the fusion of hydrogen atoms, and all that means in terms of the world's energy resources, is getting appreciably nearer every day.

The beauty of hydrogen is it can come from so many different sources it can come from fossil fuels, it can come from any way that you can create electricity, including renewables.

The costs and environmental impacts associated with hydrogen production make it a questionable option at present.

More than a hundred impact test data have been obtained in the impact velocity range of up to 5 km s using a two stage hydrogen light gas gun.

As its hydrogen escaped, all that was left was a thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide with a deathly greenhouse gas effect thus, the Venus we know today.
