So We opened up the earth and sunk him and his mansion. There was not a body that could help him against (the will) of God, nor was he able to save himself.

We therefore buried him and his house into the earth so he had no group to help save him from Allah nor could he take revenge.

So We made the earth to swallow him and his dwelling and there was no host to help him, apart from God, and he was helpless

Then We sank the earth with him and his dwelling place. And he had no host to defend him against Allah, nor was he of those who could defend themselves.

So We caused the earth to swallow him and his dwelling place. Then he had no group or party to help him against Allah, nor was he one of those who could save themselves.

So We caused the earth to cave in on him and his mansion. He had no company to save him from God, and he could not defend himself.

At last We caused the earth to swallow him and his house. Thereafter there was no group of people that could come to his aid against Allah nor was he able to come to his own aid.

So We caused the earth to swallow him and his dwelling place. Then he had no host to help him against Allah, nor was he of those who can save themselves.

So We caused the earth to swallow him and his house, and he had no party that might protect him from Allah, nor could he rescue himself.

We caused the earth to swallow him, together with his dwelling, and there was no host to help him, other than Allah and he was not amongst the victorious.

And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who could defend themselves.

We caused the earth to swallow up him and his home. No one besides God could help him nor could he himself achieve victory.

Thus We made the earth to swallow up him and his abode so he had no body of helpers to assist him against Allah nor was he of those who can defend themselves.

Then We caused the earth to swallow up him and his home there was no one to help him against God, nor could he defend himself.

Then We caused the earth to swallow up him and his house and he had not (the least little) party to help him against Allah, nor could he defend himself.

Have you then become so sure that He will not cleave the earth and sink you in it by the shore, or send a gale against you, when you will not find any protector.

Are you unafraid that He may bury an edge of the same land along with you, or send a shower of stones upon you, and you find no supporter for yourselves?

Do you feel secure that He will not cause the shore to swallow you up, or loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you will find no guardian for you?

Are ye then secure that he will not cause a side of the land to swallow you up, or send over you a sand storm, and then ye will not find for yourselves a trustee?

Do you then feel secure that He will not cause a side of the land to swallow you up, or that He will not send against you a violent sand storm? Then, you shall find no Wakil (guardian one to guard you from the torment).

Are you confident that He will not cause a track of land to cave in beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no protector?

Do you, then, feel secure against His causing you to be swallowed up by a tract of the earth, or letting loose a deadly whirlwind charged with stones towards you, and there you will find none to protect you?

Feel ye then secure that He will not cause a slope of the land to engulf you, or send a sand storm upon you, and then ye will find that ye have no protector?

Do you feel secure that He will not make the coastland swallow you, or He will not unleash upon you a rain of stones? Then you will not find any defender for yourselves.

Do you feel secure that He will not cause the shore to swallow you, or let loose a squall of pebbles upon you? Then you shall find no guardian for yourself.

Then do you feel secure that instead He will not cause a part of the land to swallow you or send against you a storm of stones? Then you would not find for yourselves an advocate.

Do you feel secure that We will not cause a part of the land to sink or engulf you with sand storms when you would find no one to protect you?

What! Do you then feel secure that He will not cause a tract of land to engulf you or send on you a tornado? Then you shall not find a protector for yourselves.

Do you then feel secure against His causing you to be swallowed up by the earth when you are back on land, or His sending a deadly sand storm upon you? Then you will find none to protect you.

Do ye then feel secure that He will not cause you to be swallowed up beneath the earth when ye are on land, or that He will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones) so that ye shall find no one to carry out your affairs for you?

Do they not see what is before them and what is behind them of the heavens and the earth? We could cleave the earth and sink them, if We pleased, or drop a fragment of the sky upon them. There is surely a sign in this for every penitent creature.

So did they not see what is before them and what is behind them in the sky and the earth? If We will, We can bury them into the earth or cause a part of the sky to fall on them indeed in this is a sign for every repentant bondman.

Have they not regarded what lies before them and what lies behind them of heaven and earth? Did We will, We would make the earth to swallow them, or We would drop down on them lumps from heaven. Surely in that is a sign to every penitent servant.

Behold they not that which is before them and that which is behind them of the heaven and the earth If We will, We shall sink the earth with them or cause a fragment of the heaven to fall on them. Verily therein is a sign Unto every repentant bondman.

See they not what is before them and what is behind them, of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We shall sink the earth with them, or cause a piece of the heaven to fall upon them. Verily, in this is a sign for every faithful believer that believes in the Oneness of Allah , and turns to Allah (in all affairs with humility and in repentance).

Do they not reflect upon what lies before them and behind them, of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We can make the earth cave in beneath them, or make pieces of the sky fall down on them. In that is a sign for every devout servant.

Do they not see how the heavens and the earth encompass them from the front and the rear? We could, if We so wished, cause the earth to swallow them or let fragments of the sky fall upon them. Verily there is a Sign in this for every servant (of Allah) who penitently turns to Him.

Have they not observed what is before them and what is behind them of the sky and the earth? If We will, We can make the earth swallow them, or cause obliteration from the sky to fall on them. Lo! herein surely is a portent for every slave who turneth (to Allah) repentant.

Have they not regarded that which is before them and that which is behind them of the sky and the earth? If We like, We can make the earth swallow them, or let a fragment from the sky fall on them. There is indeed a sign in that for every penitent servant.

Have they not seen what is before them and behind them in heaven and earth? If We willed, We would make the earth swallow them up, or We would let lumps from heaven fall down on them. Surely, there is a sign in this for every penitent worshiper.

Then, do they not look at what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or could let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning back to Allah .

Have they not seen the heavens and the earth in front and behind them. Had We wanted, We could have caused the earth to swallow them up or made a part of the sky fall upon them. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for every repenting person.

Do they not then consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We please We will make them disappear in the land or bring down upon them a portion from the heaven most surely there is a sign in this for every servant turning (to Allah).

Do they not observe how they are encompassed by what is before them and what is behind them in heaven and on earth? We could, if We pleased, cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. In that certainly there is a sign for every servant of Ours who turns to us.

See they not what is before them and behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Verily in this is a Sign for every devotee that turns to Allah (in repentance).
