Why? Because the soul, the human soul, embodies a piece of the divine breath, a piece of the divine soul.

We are a soul.

O you tranquil soul,

O the contented soul!

'O soul at peace,

O thou peaceful soul!

(It will be said to the pious) O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!

But as for you, O tranquil soul.

(On the other hand it will be said) O serene soul!

But ah! thou soul at peace!

O soul at peace!

O satisfied soul,

To the righteous it will be said , O reassured soul,

Serene soul,

O soul that art at rest!

But to the righteous, God will say , O soul at peace,

(To the righteous soul will be said ) O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction!

Soulless Bodies

It did mine.

The soul is the prison of the body.

I have a free spirit.

Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula,

The soul and how it was integrated

Yes indeed, when the soul will reach up to the throat.

And by oath of the soul and by oath of Him Who made it proper.

No indeed when it reaches the clavicles

By the soul, and That which shaped it

By no means! When it cometh up to he collar bone.

By the soul and Him Who propertioned it,

Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit),

And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion

Indeed, when it has reached the breast bones.

And the soul and He who proportioned it.

Nay when a man's soul reaches up to the throat,

and by the soul and by Him Who perfectly proportioned it,

Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat

And a soul and Him Who perfected it

No indeed! When it reaches up to the collar bones

by the soul and Him who fashioned it,

But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone

by the soul and Who shaped it

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

And by the soul and He who proportioned it

Some people, certainly, do not believe in it, but when a person's soul reaches up to his throat

and by the soul and that (Power) which designed it
