The Consolidated List of Individuals and Entities Belonging to or Associated with the Taliban and Al Qaida is an expression of the resolve of the international community to defeat terrorism in general and to combat the individuals and entities supporting Al Qaida and the Taliban in particular.

A workshop was being organized together with UNICEF and UNDP.

That may be true of the war against Al Qaeda it is less obviously correct with regard to the Taliban. Obnoxious as their rule over Afghanistan was, the Taliban did not attack America, and Bush s war against it was not a war of last resort.

Work on this committee included serving on the mid day workshop committee for the annual DPI NGO Conference, serving on the Communications Workshop Committee, chairing the Nominating Committee, chairing the website committee, conducting training sessions for NGOs and writing articles for the newsletter.

Prior to the workshop, an inter agency humanitarian team, led by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, had assessed these villages and presented its findings at the workshop.
