The Ministry of Education and Research has commissioned studies to clarify the reasons of learning difficulties and dropping out of students.

Dropout rates

In 1990, the drop out rate was 7.32 per cent for women and 9.98 per cent for men only a slight percentage difference between the sexes.

Medical and biological research
