Total income in this fund was 4,050,205 after inclusion of interest income and miscellaneous income.

Also, the Administration should enforce the interest payment provision on late transfer of sales proceeds to the greeting card and related operations as enshrined in the recognition agreements.

Credits to Member States for interest and miscellaneous income

These include pledges of voluntary contributions, contributions from governmental, intergovernmental or non governmental sources and related interest earnings, and miscellaneous income.

The Advisory Committee agrees with the proposal of the Secretary General in paragraph 32 (b) of the budget report to credit the surplus balance to Member States, with the exception of interest income, which in the opinion of the Committee should be credited to the peacekeeping reserve fund if the General Assembly so decides.

7. Total interest income earned in 1994 1995 of 9,295,111 is apportioned between general purpose interest income ( 5,948,871) and special purpose interest income ( 3,346,240), in accordance with the ratio of their respective average fund balance (A 51 5 Add.9, Statement II and Note 7).
