49. The Council of Europe has established a multi disciplinary group on corruption, which continued its work in 1996.

The Law Group is affiliated with the International Commission of Jurists, and maintains formal relations with the United Nations, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Organization of African Unity.

The workshop will be held in collaboration with scientists from the chemosynthetic ecosystems group and the seamounts group of the Census for Marine Life.

During the workshop, a core group of about 10 scientists worked at Fermilab.

The Scientific and Technical Subcommittee would meet for one week, to be followed by a two week session of the Legal Subcommittee.
