The report by the Secretary General on monitoring of the implementation of the Tunis Declaration, issued at the 2004 Tunis Summit, on the status of development and modernization in the Arab region,

Tunisia had invited other Arab and African countries to visit it to learn from its experience and achievements.

Moreover, Tunisia has strengthened its legal system with the promulgation of the above mentioned Act, under which the Tunisian Financial Analysis Committee was established in the Tunisian Central Bank for the purpose of monitoring suspicious operations and transactions.

The current proposed draft text was forwarded by the second meeting of the Preparatory Committee to the third meeting. It is divided into a political chapeau, the Tunis Commitment and operational parts, the Tunis Agenda for Action and the Tunis Plan of Implementation.
