3 The members of the drafting group included representatives from the World Bank, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Tourism Organization, the World Trade Organization, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Statistics Division (Chair).

They include Governments, community based organizations, civil society organizations, children's groups and international organizations.

Six organizations in particular contributed to this increase with their contributions totalling accounted for 87 per cent ( 2.0 billion) of the overall share WHO ( 825.4 million), UNRWA ( 449.4 million), FAO ( 300.5 million), UNESCO ( 172.8 million), ILO (146.4 million) and the United Nations International Development Organization UNIDO ( 129.5 million).

In addition, women members of mixed organizations (in the areas of labour, business, development, health, anti violence, etc.) are also making efforts to incorporate gender interests into their organizations' agendas.

Reference was made to the work carried out in the framework of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
