Consequently, appropriate financial provisions will be incorporated within the budget appropriations to be adopted before the close of the first part of the sixtieth session.

On 30 August 1997, 81 loans valued at 289,038 were outstanding, including two loans valued at 19,774 issued early in the reporting period.

Both current month contributions and current month loan repayments are excluded from members' Fund balances for the purpose of calculating the average balance.

As in the case of the calculation of arrears, the current practice has been to include only those assessed contributions due before the end of a given year in the computation of the amount of the contributions due.

It's only worth it if the price is right.

Unliquidated obligations are constantly under review and amounts no longer needed are immediately cancelled.

The Advisory Committee points out that not all budget sections contain information on resources related to monitoring and evaluation.

The study will assess the domestic public budgets and official development assistance (ODA) resources allocations to basic social services.

The full amounts of the advances are maintained as accounts receivable from staff members until the required proofs of entitlement are produced, at which time the budgetary accounts are charged and the advances settled

The interest income is determined by the interest rates on United States dollar call accounts and short term deposits and the cash balance maintained by UNDCP.
