Upper secondary education includes a baccalaureate level and technical vocational education.

In addition a number of technical colleges and vocational training institutes provide technical and vocational education at the secondary level.

At present, the Ministry of Education is focusing on technical vocational education and training for ex combatants.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection's vocational technical education system has 73 vocational technical schools that train specialists in 160 specialties.

In addition to the federalization of basic education, SEP has devolved other services to the local authorities, such as the technical vocational education services (intermediate secondary education) of the National College of Technical and Vocational Education (CONALEP) and those of the baccalaureate of the College of Bachelors, decentralized SEP bodies.

In secondary vocational institutions (training schools, technical schools and colleges, and other educational institutions equivalent to them), citizens may obtain a specialty on the basis of general basic, general secondary and beginning vocational education.

The only discrepancy occurs in technical and vocational education, which is attributable to the difference within that particular branch of education.

Colombia apos s formal education system consists of preschool, basic primary, basic secondary and occupational secondary, and higher education, which is divided into technical, technological and university (undergraduate and postgraduate).

Beginning vocational education is made available to citizens in keeping with their interests, wishes and capabilities on the basis of basic and general secondary education provided in vocational lycées, vocational schools, special vocational schools and training complexes, centres and other educational institutions equivalent to them.

253. Secondary education, including technical and vocational education, is available to anyone who completes the basic cycle and wishes to continue his studies, whether general or technical in nature, with no discrimination or limitations whatsoever.

Higher education starts after the baccalaureate and comprises three levels higher technical, also known as associate vocational, the bachelor's degree and postgraduate.

The following levels of vocational education have been established in the Latvian educational system primary vocational education secondary vocational education higher professional education.

(i) Provision of vocational, technical and teacher training

Depending on the degree of education, there have been created primary schools, secondary schools, senior high schools, special senior high schools (technical, foreign languages, arts), professional technical schools, colleges, and universities.

The Law On Vocational Education regulates primary vocational education, secondary vocational education and higher professional education of the first level, as well as the awarding of the respective professional qualifications.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) provided technical assistance in specific areas including the Education for All initiative, technical and vocational education and training, early childhood education, teacher training, adult literacy, inclusive education and higher education.

Education and training, agricultural extension

The Israeli secondary education system is composed of both technological vocational and general public high schools.

It shall support the education and technical and vocational training policies of member States.

Higher vocational education in the country is performed on the basis of general secondary, beginning vocational and secondary vocational education, and colleges of higher vocational schools and in State institutions of higher vocational education, including private institutions.

Technical and vocational training is very limited, and there is need for new policy ideas in education and employment.

281. Secondary education, including technical and professional technical, is generally accessible and free of charge in State and municipal schools.
