Transport of dangerous goods in Norway is regulated through the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) and Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) respectively.

The Contracting Parties shall encourage and promote modern methods of transportation of goods (combined, multimodal and others).
