B. Main findings of the Special Rapporteur

The Director will monitor the results and ensure follow up of investigations, and will establish a system for determining and reporting the closure of investigations.

The Commission commented on two of the revised forms Survey coordinator's report and Survey results report .

The compliance department shall, after each investigation ends, set down a report concerning the investigation situation and conclusion, and file it with the organ requiring the investigation.

124. In the course of the reporting period, the Section produced 35 reports and communications which detailed the results of inquiries and included findings and recommendations to programme managers this represents an average of one report every 10 calendar days.

It encourages all States parties which have addressed preliminary follow up replies to the Special Rapporteur to conclude their investigations in as expeditious a manner as possible and to inform the Special Rapporteur of their results.

(f) Transmission of findings After the inquiry, the treaty body may transmit its findings to the State party

In the event that the Special Rapporteurs are able to undertake the requested mission prior to the fifty third session of the Commission on Human Rights, it is their intention to submit a report of their findings, either in written form as an addendum to the present report or orally, to that session of the Commission.

In reporting this survey result, the reporting office Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) viewed this as a net positive rating.

The reports of the two Panels of Experts and the previous report of the Monitoring Group (S 2003 223, S 2003 1035 and S 2004 604, respectively) were also taken into consideration during the investigations.
