II. SOURCES OF FINANCING

Consists of funds available for the implementation of programmes funded by general resources and supplementary funds as well as funds available for the acquisition of capital assets.

Total resources, as presented in the resource plan (table 1), consist of UNICEF income (regular resources and other resources) and trust funds. The resource plan has three sections as follow

All payments made in reimbursement of sums allocated from the Fund's resources and income from investment of its capital are added to its resources.

Programmes funded from other resources are normally fully funded before implementation begins therefore, the cash balance for other resources is higher than for regular resources.
