The Meeting focused on what the emphasis of such support should be in the future.

There was some support from the Committee for shorter conclusions with a more limited focus and it was recommended that the process used to reach conclusions might be re examined.

Let me add three further points that I think are also important to this discussion.

82. It was observed that the emphasis of paragraph 50 was on accounting practices and that, in line with the purpose of the guide, the discussion should be recast so as to focus on legislation.
