The Scientific Committee evaluates these and by linking to effects, plays a central role in radiation risk assessment worldwide.

Likewise, the Bank of England is undertaking important work on the risk that assets like coal or oil reserves could be stranded by policy changes intended to limit dangerous climate change. And the G 20 finance ministers recently requested that the Financial Stability Board undertake a broad assessment of climate related risks and opportunities.

In paragraph 126, the Board recommended that UNCC and the Office of Internal Oversight Services conduct a joint risk assessment so that a proper audit plan could be developed.

(3) monitoring identifying, evaluating and reporting compliance risks
