Apart from the conduct of trials, a vital part of the Completion Strategy is the work the Tribunal is undertaking with the national courts of the countries concerned.

The Working Group on Speeding up Trials, chaired by Judge Bonomy, among other things came to the conclusion that the three existing courtrooms should be renovated to allow for the conduct of trials involving multiple accused an issue I will address in detail later in this statement.
