1. Reaffirms its decision 38 401 concerning the prohibition of smoking in small conference rooms and the discouragement of smoking in large conference rooms

Despite the current stagnation in the peace and reconciliation process, the Ivorian Government implores the international community not to be overcome by disappointment, discouragement or irritation.

This includes discouragement of the use of private vehicles, improvement of the public transport system, including the development of road transport master plans, adoption of legal measures to limit the importation of used and or reconditioned vehicles and improvement of road infrastructure, as well as modernization of locomotives and switching from diesel to electric traction on railways, and using river transport systems where possible.
