Addressing the Widening Gap

The gap between the developed and developing countries is widening.

The gap between the rich and the poor is widening.

And you see the female line since 1984, the gap is widening.

The gap between the more advanced developing economies and the weaker ones is widening.

However, notwithstanding these efforts, the gap in the capability for sound management of chemicals is widening.

The economic gap between Africa and the rest of the world was widening.

They also have the potential for widening the gap between rich and poor.

Whereas markets have become global, Governments remain local, however, and in key respects the capability gap between them is widening.

33. Technological advances, especially in communication, information and biotechnology, are widening the gap between countries.

It was therefore urgent to close the widening gap between different regions of the developing world by establishing everywhere the infrastructure needed for the growth of the private sector.
