Having taken cognizance of the Russian Federation's keenness to develop its cooperative relations with the Organization of the Islamic Conference

The Government of the Republic of Iraq has undertaken this position out of its honour and respect of the general agreement among the Regional Groups and out of its keenness to maintain the fortunately existing cordial relations with the African States.

The Conference strongly reaffirmed its keenness on Iraq's sovereignty, territorial integrity, national unity and political independence and to be ruled by its own people through a broad based, all inclusive and fully representative government, in conformity with a nationally endorsed permanent constitution.

In its keenness to prepare for the future, France highlights the use of feedback, scientific and technical research and open minded and constructive cooperation with all those bodies, governmental or otherwise, which are working in the field of arms control to find the best possible balance between military necessity and humanitarian concerns.
