Every effort should be made to ensure that those thematic priorities also incorporated existing national projects under CSFs.

The Special Representative indicated that the current selection of projects and protocols reflected consensus on the priorities for each of the main themes of the Conference.

This guidance may address issues relating to incorporating adaptation concerns in the project's cost benefit analysis and mainstreaming adaptation projects in the national development agenda.
