Condemn these Christians and you make martyrs of them and insure their immortality.

Beef to make 'em strong... make 'em grow.

We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter).

We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode.

Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode,

Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality the remembrance of the Abode.

Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter .

We distinguished them with a distinct quality the remembrance of the Home.

Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter.

Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter).

Indeed We purified them with exclusive remembrance of the abode of the Hereafter .

Indeed, We purified them with a most pure quality, the remembrance of the Everlasting Life.

Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality remembrance of the home of the Hereafter .

We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment.

Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode.

We chose them for a special purpose proclaiming the message of the Hereafter

Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose) proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter.

If God had pleased He would surely have made you a single community of belief but He leads whosoever He wills astray, and guides whosoever He please. But you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

Had Allah willed He would have made you all one nation, but He sends astray whomever He wills and guides whomever He wills and you will certainly be questioned regarding your deeds.

If God had willed, He would have made you one nation but He leads astray whom He will, and guides whom He will and you will surely be questioned about the things you wrought.

And had Allah willed, He would have made you all one community, but he sendeth astray whomsoever He willeth, and guideth whomsoever He willeth and surely ye shall be questioned regarding that which ye have been working.

And had Allah willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do.

Had God willed, He would have made you one congregation, but He leaves astray whom He wills, and He guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

Had Allah so willed, He would have made you all one single community. However, He lets go astray whomsoever He wills and shows the Right Way to whomsoever He wills. Surely you shall be called to account regarding what you did.

Had Allah willed He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sendeth whom He will astray and guideth whom He will, and ye will indeed be asked of what ye used to do.

Had Allah wished, He would have made you one community, but He leads astray whomever He wishes and guides whomever He wishes, and you will surely be questioned concerning what you used to do.

Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation. But He leads astray whomsoever He will and gives guidance to whomsoever He will. You shall be questioned about what you did.

And if Allah had willed, He could have made you of one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

Had God wanted, He would have made you one single nation but He guides or causes to go astray whomever He wants. You will certainly be questioned about what you have done.

And if Allah please He would certainly make you a single nation, but He causes to err whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did.

Had God pleased, He would have united you in one community but He lets go astray whoever He will, and guides whoever He will, and you will surely be called upon to account for all your actions.

If Allah so willed, He could make you all one people But He leaves straying whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases but ye shall certainly be called to account for all your actions.

And what is it that really makes us us?

And this remained their lament till We mowed them down and made them extinct.

So they kept saying this until We made them cut off, extinguished.

So they ceased not to cry, until We made them stubble, silent and still.

And this ceased not to be their cry until We made them a harvestreaped, extinguished.

And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is reaped, extinct (dead).

This continued to be their cry, until We made them silent ashes.

They did not cease to cry this until We reduced them to stubble, still and silent.

And this their crying ceased not till We made them as reaped corn, extinct.

That remained their cry until We turned them into a mown field, stilled like burnt ashes .

And this they did not stop crying out until We made them stubble, silent, and still.

And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them as a harvest mowed down , extinguished like a fire .

Such was what they continued to say until We mowed them down and made them completely extinct.
