In 2004, the development partnership committee was established.

This interactive partnership was evident in the design of the Conference, in that Committee II, the quot partners apos committee quot , was specially created for partners apos hearings on, and commitments to, the Habitat Agenda.

Participants recognized that partnerships could come in many forms, not only of governments and communities or NGOs, but also between international organizations, in particular, members of the CPF.

CPF is recognized as an important partnership.

The Partnerships Fair provided an important venue for networking among partners and for exchanging lessons learned and best practices.

The Alliance helps interested partners with defense reform. And many of our partners bring valuable capabilities and expertise to our operations.

It appeared that some 300 partnerships had been registered with the Commission's secretariat, mainly among Governments or intergovernmental organizations but there were few partnerships within the private sector or between the public and the private sectors.

Furthering United Nations reform and working with United Nations partners

The European Union remained committed in close cooperation with its partners in the Quartet and in the Arab world to facilitating a final settlement.
