At the meeting, on June, the Acting Chairperson, Alice Caponiti, reported on the results of the intersessional meetings of the Working Group at the current session of the Committee.

As in previous years, the Conference has at its disposal, during the entire session, 10 meetings per week.

Therefore, delegations are requested to keep the copies they receive throughout the annual session and use them during the meetings.

That volume is expected to be launched during the sixtieth session of the General Assembly.

That was also the subject of discussion during informal inter sessional consultations.

In that connection, it also considered a schedule of meetings for the same period.

III. SUBSTANTIVE WORK OF THE CONFERENCE DURING ITS 1997 SESSION

Noting the progress made during the second part of the Conference,

The Committee meets in annual session for five working days and submits its report to the Council at its substantive session in July.

33. The Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that the item should be allocated at an appropriate time during the session.

Consequently, meetings of the Main Committees during the sixtieth session, including informal meetings, should start promptly at 10 a.m. and be adjourned by 6 p.m. on weekdays.

My tenure as President has coincidentally fallen within the period of the 2005 NPT Review Conference.

In the course of the resumed session, the Board held one plenary meeting the 978th meeting.

F. Work during the fifty first session of the General Assembly

The drafting of the Workshop's conclusions required a substantial amount of time both during and between the plenary sessions.

The report was considered during the debates of the General Assembly at its fifty ninth session.

III. Substantive work of the Conference during its 1998 Session

The whole event was characterized by vibrant discussions.

The report, as amended, was adopted during the course of the meeting.

He had therefore asked the Secretariat to hold the nameplate in the conference room for the duration of the Review Conference.
