In 1992, of the total number of around 226,000 such juveniles, 48 per cent worked in industry, 20.8 per cent in trade and 12.5 per cent in construction.

By 1994, the percentage had decreased to less than 15 per cent.10 In 1966, the agricultural sector provided employment for 55,000, or 43 per cent of total employment, whereas in the period 1980 1985, there were 40,000 employed in the agricultural sector, comprising 24 per cent of those Palestinians employed.11 In 1993, the percentage of employed persons working in agriculture was 22 per cent.12

378. The juveniles undertaking practical work to learn their professions work in all branches of the State economy, apart from individual farming.

(i) In employment matters

In 2002 2003, employment equity grants were provided to increase women's employment in the petroleum industry.

23. As for the fields covered by the Convention, employment and occupation include access to vocational training, access to employment and to particular occupations, as well as the terms and conditions of employment.

The programmes is implemented by the Regional Employment Development Offices under the supervision of the Under Secretariat for Employment (currently the Secretariat for Employment and Vocational Training).

In the field of employment, programmes of employment, training, and supplementary and supportive services have been implemented.

Employment in the distribution sector accounts for a sizeable share of non agricultural employment in developing countries, and it is significantly higher than in developed countries.

The provision of the following employment services to all persons has been regulated on the state level informing about the situation in the labour market and about the possibilities of employment training, employment mediation vocational training vocational guidance employment subsidy to start a business community placements.

This led to the creation in 1996 of the Public Employment Placement Enterprise in Australia, which now competes for business in a wide range of employment services against other private and community sector organizations.

Unemployed war veterans and disabled persons can rarely implement their rights to employment in conditions of severe general unemployment.

7. The Ministry of Labour and Social Advancement is responsible for periodically carrying out special employment programmes in the various employment categories.

The largest declines in female employment in this period occurred in agriculture and mining.

Employment fairs are organized by the Employment Services in the federated states and the Federal District.

The main features of the employment situation are determined by the dominant patterns of the urbanization and structural adjustment processes most of the employed population lives in urban areas and works in the secondary and tertiary sectors of the economy, specifically in industry, services and commerce.

The tradable side of advanced economies has not generated any real net increases in employment for at least two decades, while the jobs that it has created are concentrated in the upper income and upper education ranges, with employment declining in the middle and lower range of income and education. Growth in high end services employment is matched by contraction in high employment components of manufacturing supply chains.

Employment bureaux are ineffective and do not offer sufficient support in employment, even though considerable funds are being contributed to bureaux via employment programmes throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Women's employment experience was further disadvantaged by occupational training that remains concentrated in traditional fields that limit opportunities for employment and promotion.

144. The Act applies to every female person employed in or about the business of a shop or office .

Forwarding to employment following the completion of the above mentioned actions, the trained women are integrated into programmes of OAED aiming to find employment.

Activity branches 379. Working women are primarily employed in the terciary sector 67 per cent of economically active women are employed in this sector, called commerce and services (see table 57).

The long term unemployed give up looking for jobs in their specialized fields in favour of obtaining some sort of employment.

And that's important for many fronts, and one of them is because of that culture that's in agriculture.

Although most developing countries still rely on agriculture for their wealth creation, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) the service sector is growing steadily.
