176. UNU and the secretariat of the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction are cooperating closely on the UNU project on Natural Disaster Risk Management.

The International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy was established in 1991 at Vancouver, Canada, as a joint initiative of the Society for the Reform of Criminal Law, Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia.

Several studies done so far on the project have been published by UNU WIDER.

UNU completed the project implementation report for a UNU UNESCO IOC UNEP project on Asia Pacific mussel watch.
