A mandatory funded pension is a periodic benefit which is guaranteed pursuant to law, for the receipt of which units of a mandatory pension fund are acquired according to the Funded Pensions Act and the Social Tax Act and which is paid from the pension fund or by an insurer.

109. Long term social security covers payments in proven cases of invalidity or presumed (old age) disability, as well as in cases of loss of survivor apos s benefits because of death of the benefit recipient (survivor apos s pensions).
