The consensus underlying the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) is badly frayed.

Disarmament and non proliferation education can ensure the continuation of institutional knowledge, and assist those working on NPT issues to understand the Treaty and its regime as a whole.

We are all aware of the fact that the NPT is a key international instrument to curb both vertical and horizontal proliferation.
