Since competition laws and policy represented an extremely multidimensional and complicated issue, more international organizations would be involved in its consideration in the years to come.

Under the Côte d apos Ivoire competition law, the executive may request opinions from the Competition Commission on questions relating to competition, and must make such a request where draft legislation would limit competition the authority may itself take the initiative.

The Australia Thailand agreement, for instance, contains a definition of the anti competitive practices to be proscribed these include business conduct or transactions that adversely affect competition, such as anti competitive horizontal arrangements between competitors misuse of market power, including predatory pricing anti competitive vertical arrangements and anti competitive mergers and acquisitions.
