WFP continued to participate in the UNDG Resident Coordinators' Issues Group (RCIG) and the Inter Agency Advisory Panel (IAAP), which consider and propose candidates for RC posts.

One of the organization's constituent bodies also played a key role for the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), helping the host country with organizing the NGO conference, and facilitating the participation of several NGOs during the conference.

These international coordination meetings also provided an opportunity for ESA, which currently represents the member States on the Inter Agency Debris Co ordination Group (IADC), to disseminate information exchanged at IADC meetings, the 1995 IADC meeting was held at Houston, Texas, during March 1995.

It was assisted in its deliberations by a facilitator who was a Commissioner of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.

Recalling the existing cooperation agreements between the OIC and international and regional organizations

The Agreement consists of four protocols, two framework agreements and two annexes regarding the implementation modalities of the aforementioned protocols and framework agreements.

On the initiative of the signatories, consultations shall take place in New Caledonia to discuss the agreement which has been reached with political, customary, economic and social organizations.
