Consistent with the above mentioned decisions, the present report reviews (a) the implementation of the Guidelines for the Review of Policies and Procedures concerning South South Cooperation, including common indicators (b) the status, management and use of resources for the promotion of SSC as well as the development of a forward looking strategy for resource mobilization and (c) the UNDP organizational, administrative and financial arrangements in support of SSC.

By providing a framework to promote and catalyse South South interactions, the Guidelines are instrumental in ensuring that the United Nations development system thinks South South and is permeated not only by the concept but also by its practical application.
