The State party should review the relevant provisions of its domestic law and bring them into line with article 4 of the Covenant.

Extradition shall be subject to the other provisions set forth under the legislation of the requested State.

The proposal, presented as one article with two paragraphs, was subsequently divided into two separate articles which restated existing treaty law with respect to experts on mission for the United Nations.
