New assessment

The results of the project have been given a very good international evaluation.

Emphasis has been on thematic evaluations, which will continue to be conducted, while stakeholders also recognize the value of closer participation by the Unit in project evaluations.

It would be useful to conduct an honest re evaluation of the international policy response to assess its achievements and failures.

The most recent evaluation generally found the Fund's performance to be quite strong.
