Miscellaneous expenditure on financially completed project and reduction of support costs

In fact, it is the consumers who actually spend the most.

In compliance with financial rule 303.1, the proposed expenditures have been grouped under programme costs and programme support costs.

It also covers the cost of the publications of the Court, the acquisition of supplies and equipment and general operating expenses.

The unencumbered balance was attributable primarily to underexpenditure in respect of consultants, official travel, facilities and infrastructure and other supplies, services and equipment.

(c) direct refunds of expenditures made during the financial period

The reduced requirement reflects the current pattern of expenditure.

Levels of appropriations, allocations allotments, expenditures and commitments

For 1998 1999, total expenditures are projected at 162,298,000, comprising 157,398,000 for operations of the Fund and 4,900,000 for support costs.

The costs incurred by the United Nations were paid from voluntary contributions received for that purpose.

Staff, support and other operating costs during 2004 amounted to 2.763 million (total expenditures of 14.837 million less contractual services of 12.074 million), compared with 2.640 million incurred during the two previous years combined an increase of 48 per cent.

Management and administration expenditures were 92 million (6 per cent) and programme support equalled 164 million (10 per cent) of total expenditures.

7. The total costs of the project, including breakdown of proposed expenditures.

The expenditures include positioning depositioning costs in the amount of 5,000.

The remaining expenditures of 175 million were for management and administration.

Total expenditures amounted to 5 million, including 4.7 million for programme costs and 0.3 million for indirect support costs.

As can be seen from table 4, programme support costs account for two thirds of the support budget.

It should be noted that costs for administrative and operational services (AOS) are now included in programme expenditure.

As a result, according to current projected actuals of revenue and expenditure, expenditure will exceed revenue by 13.99 million (including 3.5 million in installation expenditure payments for the Atlas rollout).

Actual expenditures will be less owing to cost reduction measures taken in response to funding shortfalls.

Headquarters expenditures included 5,685,806 for programme support costs against a budget of 3,791,400 or an overexpenditure of 1,894,406.

18. In the biennium 1996 1997, the Office delivered project expenditures, excluding support costs and management fees, totalling 893,887,153, while for the biennium 1994 1995 the equivalent total was 768,711,457.

The expenditure also includes the settlement of outstanding charges for the prior period ( 261,500).
